Hey everyone, had a chance to talk with Greye Tate on his review of the FXR GEAR, and the Company because it is our team Gear starting in 2019 and hopefully continue for years to come. Here is a little Q&A we did with Greye. Hope you all enjoy! Thank you.
•How long have you been running FXR gear?
Exactly 2 years! I got it right before Mini O’s in 2016 and ever since then I’ve been extremely pleased!!
•How does it compare to other Gear Brands?
I honestly wouldn’t even compare it to other gear brands. The comfortability and quality are on another level from the gear I’ve worn in previous years.
•Is the company easy to work with?
The company is hands down one of the easiest companies I’ve dealt with in all the 15 years I’ve been riding/racing. Unlike other companies, it is very easy to contact them and get a quick response.
•Do they stay connected with their riders?
Yes, Andy White the brand manager flew out to Mini O’s to meet with many of the FXR athletes. I had the chance to talk with him for over an hour. Andy has so much knowledge in this industry; it was a pleasure to talk to him about it all!
•Is the gear comfortable to ride in?
I personally really like the Revo gear. It’s made of soft, stretchable, lightweight material made to fit perfect for the comfort of each rider. Not to mention, it’s extremely affordable when compared to other gear brands.
•How does it handle in the Summer months?
FXR has a gear-set called the Mission Air Mx made just for summer. It’s full-mesh polyester offers superior breathability!
•Is it a good quality gear?
It’s top quality gear to say the least. I was at a race in Pennsylvania that Travis Pastrana was holding and I fell on my footpeg which gave me one gnarly cut! I had to have 18 stitches put in my arm and guess what...my gear didn’t even rip! So like I said, it’s top quality
