Tina Carter #MAKEUP2MUD VIDEO!! CHECK IT OUT!
Q: How did you get the name "The Cougar?"
A: The story about “the cougar” is actually pretty funny. About 4 years ago I was at a race in Alabama. +30 was on the line with college boy, the boy to my left was racing college boy and he told me good luck and that he had never raced a female in the college boy class and I told him not to worry I wasn’t racing his class. Him and his dad got super confused and were like the only other class is vet +30 and started to ask if I got my motos mixed up. I started laughing and was like no I’m racing +30 and the boy goes “ damn then you’re a cougar!” Lmao . The story didn’t stop there, two weeks later I was at a race in Illinois and same gate scenario except we were on the line with schoolboy 1 and the kid next to says you can’t ride a
4 stroke in this class. I told him I was racing the vet class and I’ll never forget his response “HOLY SHIT YOU'RE THE COUGAR !!!!”....from then on it just stuck. Ironically I love big cats; tigers, lions, jaguars, cougars etc. My left arm is a full sleeve of big cats and I have 3 more lion tattoos . If the shoe fits.
Q: How long have you been fighting fires?
A: I have been a firefighter/EMT for over 12 years. I spent the last 10 years on the same department but I’m transitioning out of full time emergency services and on to new things .
Q: What are your Moto goals for 2019?
A: My moto goals for 2019 are the same as every year. TO HAVE A BLAST AND MEET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE!!! I'm all about having fun!
My greatest life accomplishment is definitely the fact that I never gave up on myself or my dreams. I encourage others to do the same.
Q: Greatest life accomplishment, and also greatest Moto accomplishment?
A: There are things I’ve accomplished in moto that I’ve always dreamed of; collecting tickets to Loretta’s and also winning a title at Freestone are for sure big achievements for me but my greatest moto accomplishment is, even given my age and very late start, I continue to drive forward and try to improve every time I ride. I set goals for every ride and achieving those goals consistently is bar far my greatest accomplishment in moto.
